We have broken from tradition to create a deep red in colour, American style IPA. Light bodied and dry, our IPA effuses a citrusy, resinous hop flavour and aroma.

Tap @ the brewpub. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich bitter hops, flowers, caramel, malt and has a nice long bitter finish.

Taster at the source. Pours a dark gold almost amber in color with a decent sized bubbly white head. Bready toasty maltiness with bits of citrus and resin to counter.

Bottle at home. Solid deep gold to reddish hue pour, solid white head that sticks around, some decent lacing on the glass. Sweet malt, some floral hops and citrus on the nose. Taste is smooth malt base with a heavy dose of floral hops, resin, and some metallic finish.

Pours a hazy coppery amber colour with a small pale beige head that quickly settled. A fruity citrus aroma with a hint of pine. A bold citrus bitterness in the mouth; quite fruity, marmalade and dried fruit and again a hint of pine resiny hop bitterness in the finish.

Bottle at Marquette, Dublin T1, 06/06/16. Unclear reddish amber with a well presented beige cap that retains well. Nose is grapefruit, pine, caramel, candyfloss, orange pith, earthy hop dust, floral whisper. Taste comprises orange pith, bubblegum, red grapefruit, light spice, blood orange, pine needle, fleshy and sharp tropical fruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with hop bitterness. A really solid IPA ... kind of old skool US brewpub vibe but crisp and clean and laden with fresh tropicana and citric flesh. One of those moments when you pick up a beer not expecting much and come away with a smile and a solid 3.7 rake !!

Draught Medium nitro head, faintly cream coloured over orange to amber beer. Rosewater, citrussy, artificialish lemonaroma. Bitter, even wry flavour, horsechestnut; vegetal bitterness with resin. Long lasting (over)dose of bittering hops. Wry, dry-out effect, astringency. Wrong hops/hopsaddition. Must admit the wryness diminishes in time, once the shock over.

Bottle from Bradleys, Cork [160416]
Copper, clear, thin off white head
Aroma of slight fruit, soft caramelised orange, not much aroma
Taste of rich fruits, soft caramel malts, hop resins, soft citrus zest
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, smooth, clean palate, good bitter sweet balance. Finish of zesty hops, touch of toasted malt, fairly bitter zest linger
Overall - Easy drinking for abv, good beer but no way 90+ RB rating
