75cl bottle shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah @ Broken Benzai tasting. Hazy pale orange color, huge soapy instantly diminishing white head. Not a whole lot of aroma. Taste some malts, some sourness from the wood and Jenever, lightly a touch of alcohol. Fizzy carbonation, medium body. Not nearly as good as expected.

Very good dense & fine, just yellowish tinted head, leaving little lace over slightly veiled copperish orange beer, well-carbonated. Sweetish nose, with something akin to vanilla; alcohol obvious. Fresh herbs, malty. Dry, malty flavour, lightly toasted, getting a bit more sweet warming up in the oral cavity, with a finish that is again drier, featuring a citrus-ike very fine point of acidity. Medium bodied, slick, seems well-carbonated, alcoholwarming quite present. All in all well-balanced, better than many’s the BA. beer - and jenever usually doesn’t add much tastewise.
