Flesje gedeeld met Tomhendriksen. Amberkleurig bier met matig schuim. Geur is fruitig en en houtig. Smaak is zoet, fruitig en licht kruidig. Smaak ebt snel weg.

Sampled @ NL Speciaalbier Festival Den Bosch 2017. Dark orange to reddish color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, caramel, a hint of red fruit, some bitter. Meh. Not very good.

Bottle sampled at the Rootz beer festival shared with kermis. Thin creamy white head. Hazy light amber pour. A decent barley wine.

Draft at the Rootz Winterbeer Festival ’16. Slight hazy amber with a small cream head. Aroma of herbs, citrus, caramel, sweet malt and light butterscotch. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Aroma has some grass and apple pips as does the flavour. Up front the flavour is simply too sweet. There’s a definite dry bitterness in the finish but overall it seems unbalanced.
