Donkergeel vrij helder bier met zonder schuim. Smaak is fruitig en licht bitter met iets van champagne en druiven. OK, maar niet echt bijzonder.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with a large fizzy white head that dissipates leaving good lacing. Aroma is honey, coriander, wheat, floral notes. Flavor has a fair bit of sweetness, minimal bitterness. Prominent floral honey. Light body. OK.

Bottle from the shop next door to the brewery in Meer, Belgium. Aroma of caramelised orange and artificial sweetener. Flavour is also terribly sweet. Lacks a spicy edge and some tangy acidity.

Refrigerated 11.2 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours hazy dirty golden with small white head which dissapates quickly. No lacing, medium body, high carbonation, and light coriander aroma. Taste is lemon, floral, and some coriander. Not bad, but not great.

Bottle. Coriander, citrus, and floral aroma. Cloudy yellow with a large white head. Floral coriander, lightly sweet wheat malt flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation. I was a sucker for the floral coriander going on in this one.

Bottle. Hazy pale yellow body with a fizzy, white head, rapidly diminishing. Aroma of clove, toasted grain, soap. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Tart finish. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Strong soapy taste with a lingering bitterness. The combination of the two makes this almost undrinkable. Meh.

Strong coriander nose, light breadiness. Milky yellow, medium head. Crisp, super refreshing light body, a bit too spritzy. Coriander is dominant. Clean finish. Standard well made wit. The presence of coriander is stronger and more distinct than in most other wits, but beyond that it doesn’t stand out.

Brewed at... Ommegang? Available in Belgium in classic 33cl? Don’t think so... Scheldebrouwerij, probably;. Huge, very dense & fine white head over pale, lemonjuice-like, well-carbonated beer. Overwhelming, near-nauseating coriander smell, like an alternative bar of toilet soap. Likewise flavour, childrens’ softdrink-like, perfumed to the gills. Spritzy, soapy perfume keeps lingering on. Beer for the 13-yr. old fans of Gust’n Bibber.

Sampled at Texas Beerfest. Pours a cloudy yellow with a large creamy white head that lasts awhile. The aroma is citrus and fruity tart. Thin mouthfeel with a flavor similar to the aroma tart and light finish. Easy to drink a decent Belgian wit.
