Rather audible opening to massive doses of fine bubbled, dense beige foam over hazed reddish brown beer with some UFO presence. Vegetable tubers with liquorice and treacle syrup - sweet and weird nose. From further away, vinous alcohol wafts. Sourish flavour, lactic acid, roasted notes, again dark candi syrup. Sweet-sour, but the sourishness claims the most attention, even when it is relatively mild. Milkchocolate retronasal. Bit fade main taste, however. Very slick, but only medium bodied. Creamy head keeps hanging around, giving a velvety feel in the oral cavity. Attempt at Flemish Oud Bruin with liberal use of candi syrup. Txs to Stefaan!
