Thick cream head with a pink sheen over brown-red to black beer. Chocolate, with a small dash of rum. Other grains suggested. Chocolate again in the taste, if somewhat more restrained; faint hint of ashes; roast. Dry flavour despite the chocolate vector. I never eat phallus impudicus, but I don't get the oyster fungus. Medium to well-bodied, medium carbonation. Aftertaste is just a tad vinous. Nothing special really. Beery chocolate drink with some alcohol. Txs to Stef!

Bottle 0,33 ltr: Hazy dark brown leans to almost black colored brew. Dry bitter taste with hints of roasted malts and chocolate, but didn’t get the mushrooms.

Bottle, 6.3%. Salt liquorice aroma. Black colour, seems hazy. Small light brown head. The flavour is sweet with brown sugar notes. Quite roasted. Nicely bready.

Fles 33cl thuis. Zoetig, chocolade, dried fruits, roasted malts, klein zuurtje, haver, earthy, redelijk droog, paddestoelen merkbaar, bitters, koffie. (2-12-2023).

Why? Because Bart. Light and a bit watery, but with a good roast to it. Some coffee. The mushrooms are there in a damp, fungal way, without being too much. Not bad, but nothing more than that.

Passt.
