Bottle: Nose is vinous with cereal, some sour notes, slight cheese, slight vanilla. A remarkable array of tones. Taste is smoke, malt, some ripe fruits, slight chocolate in the mid tones, lactose in the finish with a little mint and roast hazelnut and oak. Mouthfeel is full with alcohol warmth. A complex and interesting beer but I am not sure how much I am enjoying it. I was glad to try but perhaps not one I will regularly return to.

Small, dense yellow head over hazy mahogany beer. End of bottle solid yeast with UFO’s. Faint sourish, point of lactic acid, milkchocolatearoma, further manure, preserved orange and quite oxydized. Pretty complex, but only reaching balance after some time. Woody, black cardemomflavour, lightly smoked, cacaopowder, some hops, dryish. Medium bodied, quite slick, dry MF, but yet carbonated feel. First impression let a bit to be desired, but it definitely grew on me, as it developped complexity in time. Many thanks, SteveH, good one indeed!
