Bottled. A murky golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is malty combined with notes of citrus, and lighter notes of rotten fruits, lending it a sweetness. The flavor is acidic malty with light notes of burnt malt, leading to a dry burnt finish.

Bottled (tapped 26.1.2008). Murky nut brown color, small brown head. Whisky, wood and licorice in the nose. Very sour, metallic then licorice and brandy. Long sour-licorice-metallic aftertaste. Very rare, but maybe not really "grand cru".

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of Myrup. Pours a hazy warm amber golden with an off-white head. Piquant spicy nose. Medium body with dried and overripe fruit accents, with and interesting woody touch - unfortunately also somewhat chemical. Finishes dry. Both exciting and off-putting at the same time. 310808

Gushing to small, yellow rim; fully hazy red-brown beer. Solvent, glue, fruity estery, wild berries, shoepolish and other unwanted yeast off-products, all dissolved in alcohol. More solvent, glue, acids, yeasts (and others) gone wild. After venting off the glass, the fruitiness gets it from the chemicals, but it cannot be saved. Unpalatable. Sorry, but this is a goner.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy deep orange with a lacing white head. Infected citric aroma with a deep spice note and dry malty flavour. Spiced and infected acidic flavour with a light present malty base flavour. Lasting spiced and somewhat chemical flavour. Surely has all the elements for a grand cru yet something went quite wrong :(
