Location: 22 oz bottle from Nikki's Liquors, 4/2/15
Aroma: The nose is fairly heavy pine/resin, tropical hops as well, basically just a big, hoppy aroma
Appearance: An unclear lighter orange color with a frothy white head and fairly coating, spotty lace
Flavor: The taste has is pretty heavily bitter, not balanced at all, but with a really nice hop flavor
Palate: The body is medium, with a fairly smooth feel, soft carbonation, and a long, dry finish
Overall Impression: This beer really does nail the West Coast IPA stereotypes. Big, resiny, dry, and quite good. It isn't a perfect beer, but it is right on style, and damn enjoyable.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 5/4/2015. Pours slightly hazy orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, herbal, floral, grass, caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/pine hops and light-moderate dark/bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, herbal, floral, grass, caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Large amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange zest, citrus rind, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity and balance of bright citrus/pine hops and light-moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a crisp malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and resinous sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great complexity and balance of bright citrus/pine hops and light-moderate dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

[2/16/15] Draught at Cameron’s Inn in Half Moon Bay. Clear deep golden. “Green” hops aroma, kinda dank and leafy. Hoppy flavor, “green”, with pretty strong bitterness and an alcoholic note. Medium-bodied.

Pours clear gold into a tulip. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Caramel and tropical fruit aromas. Sweet caramel and bready upfront turning to bitter earth and pith in the lasting finish.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a dark golden color with a huge fluffy white head that left incredible lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy with tropical fruits, a bit of pine and grapefruit. The flavor was bitter, tangy yet sweetish with notes of pine, grapefruit and undertones of earthiness and malt. Medium length pine finish. Moderately full bodied. Solid.

Draft @ Grill Next Door. Clear piss color with almost no head. Aroma and flavor are on the one dimensional side. Nothing but lasting pine and mild malt base. The mouthfeel had a slick hop oiliness to it. Super slick but again nothing but pine. Very West coast interruption but just very dimensional.

From a 22 oz bottle shared on New Years eve. Pours a clear light copper with an off white head. Fruity nose. Flavors of orange, grapefruit and resin. Bitter finish.
