Bottom fermented beer brewed in the tradition of brown ales of North Flanders: spring water, special malts and hops. It has a soft, marked flavour of malt with a fruity and marrowy savour.

Medium, dense brownish head over dark cola-coloured beer, leaving some fine lace. Very bready nose, dark breadcrust, melanoidins ad sweet-smelling, as well as a faint aroma of spiced beef stock. Average. Sharp peanuts flavour, fatty acids, insectoid flavours, some melanoidins and backthroat sweet maltsyrup flavour. Extremely false impression of body, petering out lamentably watery. Pretty awful beer, rather nasty. Caractère Artisanale - meaning from a homebrewer with an overtime kit and two left hands?

Bottled. Dark brown. Vegetable aroma. Stale and lagerlike with medium body and strong notes of blood and metal. Low bitterness. Distinctly unpleasant.
