Bottle from Taps Beer Bar, Changtat, Kuala Lumpur. The aroma is roasty malt, sweet fake sugar, light chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich oily sweet sugary malt, roasty chocolate nutty hop bitter palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation.

Pours extreme ink black, with a nice mocha foam that dissipates rather quickly though. Aroma is my favourite part of this beer - simply stunning. Heavy and rather complex, with a lot of caramel and vanilla. Style is spot on. Pecan is less noticeable imho. Yet a distinct general nuttiness, spicy and lot of dark malts. Medium body, silky smooth on the palate. Flavour is sweet and rich, complex, and long lasting. Again a lot of caramel, a lot of nuttiness. Vanilla is less noticeable than in the nose but still there, accompanied by a smooth lactose sweetness and smoothness. Medium roastiness, some spiciness to it, licorice and molasses notes, some berry notes. Spot on, delivers what it promises in a delicious way. Didn't expect any different from this series, and one of the best Imperial porters I've had the chance to taste. A perfect dessert!

Fles van Beerdome. Pecan, zoet, roast, chocola. Als je dit wil proeven op een festival, kost het een kwartier om in te schenken. Bottle. Pours black. Aroma is pecan, nuts, caramel, chocolate, nutella, toffee. Body is heavy and sweet, intense sweetness, same flavours as nose. A bit more soy sauce. Ice cream, smooth but boozy. Very good.

Bottle @ Christianssand brygghus. Pitch black body with a medium sized beige head. Strong aroma of vanilla, moderate roasted dark malt, cocoa and milk chocolate. Flavor is sweet, moderate roasted dark malt, vanilla, cocoa powder and some caramel. Full bodied and long lasting aftertaste. A very sweet and nice desert in smaller amounts, and as always very fun to taste this strong flavored ice cream beers. On the other hand, I realize that its simply too much if I want one bottle by my self. Too sweet, too much vanilla and the cocoa powder flavor is almost getting annoying after a while. Fun and tasty but only in smaller amounts.

From a 330m bottle on 23/10/2017. Pours a deep brown with almost no head. The nose is pleasant featuring lots of caramel, chocolate and vanilla. Very sweet on the sip - caramel is the predominant flavour, with plenty of lactose and caramel, finished off by moderate to firm roasty bitterness. The palate is creamy and the carbonation moderate. A truly delicious dessert beer.
