Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is marshmallow, vanilla, dark malt, cocoa, fudge, mocha, nuts, caramel, some creamed coffee, vanilla ice cream. Flavour is quite sweet, desert-like, lots of sweet marshmallow. Body is rich and full. A bit too heavy on the marshmallow for me to be a timeless classic, but this is an impressive beer in a line of incredible ’Omnidesert beers’

Bottled. Deep brown colour with a mediumsized foamy beigeish brown head. Aroma is toffee, coffee, some vanilla, chocolate and mild roast. Flavour is toffee, coffee, roasted malts and some mild chocolaty tones.

(Bottle) Dark brown colour, almost black, with foamy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with hazelnuts, coffee, butterscotch, dark chocolate and vanilla. Malty, sweet taste with notes of espresso, dark chocolate, butterscotch, hazelnuts, vanilla and a sweet and vinous finish with a balanced coffee bitterness. More than medium body, really sweet. Rich and creamy, with smooth mouthfeel. A bit of a fancy dessert porter, but really tasty. Very nice.

Bottle. Pours pitch black with a small creamy brown head. Aromas of cocoa, vanilla, marshmallows, sweet strawberry candy? Lactose, light malt, chocolate milk. Taste has cocoa, chocolate milk, light malty, lactose, crackers, vanilla.

330ml bottle. Pours black with no head despite my best attempts. Cherry, raspberry, bit of booze, lots of chocolate, lots of vanilla. Medium body. Sweet and boozy and a touch thin for the style. Not my favourite Omnipollo.

Bottle at home, 2nd March 19. Pours black. Aroma is chocolate, sweet. Taste is milk chocolate, light bitter, sweet, it's not as thick a mouth feel as I expected. It's OK, I wondered if I kept this one too long, but BBE is 2021. It's not as good as some of the others in the series for sure.
