Had this right after the Nickel Brook saison and it pales in comparison. Not nearly the complexity. Smell is hard to pick out but theres some soft wheat reminiscent of a bad hefeweizen. Lacing is good as well as head retention. Taste holds bitterness and a little sourness but a pretty light palate. Tap at volos.

Bottle thanks to blutt59. Pours with a white head that fades over a clear golden body. Aroma of coriander, dryness, belgian sugar and oranges. Taste is citrus, tart, coriander and green pepper. Mouthfeel is dry and fizzy.

Bottle from matt7215. Thanks again. Pours a pale orange gold with a foamy white head. It laces lightly. Aromas of spice and citrus zest. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is yeasty, earthy, lightly malty, and there are hot spice bits. Finish is more orange peel than anything specific, but the hot bits definitely persist. Gets a mite earthier.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. An unclear orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet spicy - among them coriander, but also a lot of others that I can’t put a name to. The flavor is sweet malty and very spicy, leading to a dry spicy finish. A nice saison.

Cloudy light amber color. The aroma is lightly spicy and fruity (oranges). Medium body, a bit dry and spicy. Not bad but simple.

Bottled@SBWF2007. Hazy orange colour, small white head. Citrusfruits in nose along with some earth and malts. Also some slight hayish notes. Flavour is the same. Not very much Belgian saisonlike notes...

Very hazy orange color, small white head. Grapefruity nose. Fruity, a bit sourish grapefruit flavor, yeasty. American-style saison.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy pale orange. Aroma of orange with menthe and yeast. Medium sweet with rounded spritzy mouthfeel. Notes of papery malt and peppery alcohol. Low bitterness. Good flavourwise, but lacks a bit of depth.

Ochre to pale amber beer with a small, bigger-bubbled white head. First pineapple, some bleak farmyard odours, faintly spicey (coriander, gingerpowder?), and then, unmistakably, diacetyl and celeri taking over. More diacetyl - and more faults in the mouth, leading to a fiery, aggressive MF, despite a rather light body and buttery slickness, with flavours of stale cookies, burnt sesame oil and the inevitable coriander. Oops. Very seasonal, I should hope.
