This Saison poured a hazy golden colour with a creamy, white head. Nice lacing. Scents include ripe fruit, bananas, perm solution and malt. First swig was sweet, smooth and creamy with flavors of overripe fruit, clove and honey. Finish is sweet spice lingering.

Tap at the brewery. Opaque copper color, zesty coriander aroma with a medium body and clean Belgian wit flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pale amber color. Peach punch with bananas and canned cherries in the nose. Fruity mouth very tropical, not a saison. Fruity finish. Meh.

Can from the LCBO. Slightly hazy medium gold under a small short lived white head. Nose is yeast, spice, light honey and citrus. Some light honey sweetness under a some orange peel tartness and coriander. Mouth is medium with prickly carbonation and a medium spiced finish. decent 7/3/7+/3+/14

Bouteille 660ml, gracieuseté de msjpearson, Thanks Mike! Couleur orangée trouble, mousse beige pâle laissant une dentelle baveuse. Arôme de levure, pelure d’orange, grains de coriandre, céréales. Goût de levure, céréales, pelure d’orange. Carbonatation moyenne-élevée, corps moyen.

Bomber from the LCBO, under "Black Oak Saison" now (not summer). Pours a clear golden-amber colour with a frothy white cap, good retention because of very active carbonation. Gets a little hazy at the next pour. Mostly orange aromas from the zest. Citrus notes, honey and pepper. Pretty much the same for the taste, but milder. The wheat comes out in the finish. Pretty good overall, but missing a little balance to be a nice Saison.

Bottle - Citrus, fruity esters and spice. Hazy gold with a rich white head. Light malts, light fruit and some citrus, with a bit of yeast in the finish. Basic but nice.

Pours amber with next to no head. Nose of hops, honey and roasted malts. Bitter hops, with the same in the aftertaste, honey flavour, malts, and citrus on a long draw. Meh. Aug 26 2016. So apparently I was on some crack when I had this a couple of years ago. Probably part of a few drinks because I don’t remember this at all. I don’t know what all that talk of hops is, since this beer doesn’t have any. Beside that the Meh rating stands.
