Inky black, no head, aroma has some soy sauce, rich tarry malts. Sweet rich soy sauce, fruity chocolate, complex. Thick, sweet and a bit sticky. Very rich but sticky, not too sweet, very nice.

Tasting at Matt’s
Brown color, no head. Nice aroma mix, chocolate, dark bread, tobacco. The mouthfeel is a bit oily, but strong; very nice chocolate flavor, not roasty at all, quite sweet, also a bit too boozy, with a touch of liquorice.
A bit rough, but very good.

310mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is quite fruity, with lots of red berries, cocoa and some caramel. Flavour is along the same lines, sort of like a black forest cake, with notes of red berries and chocolate in wonderful combination. Like a sweet, fruity, chocolatey dessert. Really nice.

Keg at Craft Islington. It pours darkest brown near black with a decent tan head. The aroma is rich roast, dark chocolate, treacle, eccles cake, plum pudding, fig and earth. The taste is rich, slick, charred wood, earth, alcohol warmth, decent roast, liquorice, fruit cake, decent hit of acidity, umami and malt loaf with a smooth, boosty finish. Full body, fine carbonation and oily mouth feel. Plenty of flavour, but very boosty and a touch acidic. Ok.

Tap at Olhus Kopenhavn, Helsinki. Colour is black with brownish white head. Aromas and flavours: Coffee, chocolate, some licorice and roasted malts. Aroma is nice with massive gentle coffee but I was expecting more from the body.
