It's summer, the sun is out and Half Mast is the perfect way to celebrate. An IPA with a quarter of the alcohol, but not lacking in the flavour, impact balance that you would expect from a Siren beer. This golden coloured IPA has a surprising malt base given it's strength, low bitterness, but it's popping with juicy mango and grapefruit. Truly the perfect summertime drink.

0,33l bottle at home from trade with minutemat, big thanks. BB 09.04.2016. light yellowish lightly hazy color, small white rather stable head. nice smell of aroma hops, exotic fruits, mango, pineapple, light sweetness, a bit candish, pines, even a bit flowery towards the finish. nice smell. quite light body, rather light carbonation, rather watery mouthfeel. quite watery start with some light herbal notes & some light grain notes, after a while a light sweetness comes through. Again some light candy notes, both sweetness and herbal bitterness increases towards the finish. also notes of pine needles, but none of the nice tropical fruits that were present on the smell. Finishes rather herbal better (especially considering the body) and with hints of pine needles. loved the smell but the taste was rather disappointing, not much going on there, rather herbal bitter and not much else. Overall still drinkable though

Tap at Beergeek Bar. Surprisingly assertively hoppy. Ofc thin bodied but definitely not disturbingly so. Rich fruity tropical goppy flavour. Very good.

Small offwhite head. Clear amber body with light carbonation. Resiny gooseberry aroma with funky chalky notes. Bone dry fruity strawy taste with resiny chalky notes. Thin-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry resiny chalky aftertaste with fruity notes. It’s OK, but extremely dry. (0.2l draft at Mikkeller & Friends, Copenhagen.)

Amber colour, white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, tropical fruits, passion fruit. Rather bitter flavour, resin, hops. Quite thin (not surprising). Hoppy finish. Really nice session IPA.

Dark golden color with a frothy white head with good duration and medium lacing. Aroma has citrus notes with medium maltiness and grapefruit hints. Flavor has a decent bitterness, citrusy and pine notes. Mild bitterness in the final.

Keg @ Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Amber with a thin head and packs in plenty of tropical fruit aromas and flavours, however it’s disappointingly weak
