Caramel and leaves nose. Clear copper, thin yellow head. Peppery caramel flavor with dried leaves throughout. Caramel lingers on the palate. Fizzy mouthfeel.

Bomber from Whidbey Beer Works. Pours very dark ruddy amber with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is creamy/malty. Mildly sweetish. Med. body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is pretty toffee tinged. Not all that sweet and there’s some hop underlayer that keeps it ok. But that caramel/toffee aspect sticks around.

Bomber pours deep clear copper with off white head. The aroma has loads of chewy sweet smelling kettle caramelization with a touch of dark fruitiness in the background. The taste is similar with ample amounts of sweet caramel followed by a modest level of crystal malts and some dark fruitiness. There’s a light roasted malt note leading to some drying astringency to help balance out the sweetness.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Sweetish malty aroma with some hints of caramel and some weak hints of hops. Sweetish malty hoppy flavor with caramel hints. Has a sweetish malty finish with some hints of caramel and hops in the aftertaste.

Draught, Fred’s Rivertown Alehouse, Snohomish, WA
Red colour. Slightly toasty aroma. A little bit malty on the palate. Full enough body despite not having much flavour. Slightly earthy finish. You won’t really notice this beer over the course of the pint but you’ll enjoy it at least a little bit.

Draught Dark brown beer with good off-white head. Bit of bready nose and some caramel. Excellent little-sweet flavour. Surprisingly crisp - in the good way - greenery character. Medium bodied, rounded, sweet aftertaste and a bit toasted. For such a dreary style, really excellent - gets extra point for that.
