Draught at the brewpub
Black color; creamy and persistent head. The nitro kills the aroma, mild roastiness comes through. The mouthfeel is obviously smooth, it has mild flavor of roasted malt and coffee, and correct bitterness.
Pleasant Stout.

Pours black with a creamy light tan head. Aromas of burnt malt and chocolate. Smooth and creamy. Flavor is smooth burnt malt and a good bit of dark chocolate. Coffee? Not in my mouth. Very tasty stout.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a black color with a longlasting tan head. Roasted malty chocolate and coffee aroma. Has a smooth roasted malty bitter chocolate flavor with some hints of coffee. Dry roasted malty chocolate finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours very dark with long lasting mocha head and thick sheet lacing. I had to sip this one before checking the aroma because it overcame my will. I wasn’t expecting the onslaught of creamy smooth maltiness this beer dished out. I get burnt malts that turn very roasty for a while before a deep dark chocolate not takes over. As the chocolate hits so does a mild sweetness with faint vanilla and licorice. The flavor notes at this point play against each other nicely. Then a mild malt astringency is noticed too. It is a bit thin but an exceptional session offering. The aroma is mildly roasty, burnt and chocolaty.

Draught Near black; thick beige head. Very little nose, nothing more than the nitrokeg smell and some obvious roasted malts. Sweet for a stout, rather light. Very creamy, smooth MF, (the nitro) but very little going on behind it. Disappointing. This is a brewery that does great light beers, but struggles in the "beefier" ones.

Draught (nitro) at the brewpub. Black, creamy nitro head. Vague chocolate aroma. Fairly dry with clean creamy mouthfeel. The nitro weaves a layer around the flavours, making sure nothing interesting is allowed to reach your tastebuds. I get to sense traces of chocolate and other interesting stuff, but all is so vague that it’s no fun.

On Nitro Tap at the brewpub. Black with a thin creamy (nitro) head. Thin traces of lacing. Dark, charcoaly aroma and a dark roasted but rather pale flavor. Medium fel and not quite what I was hoping for.

Very dark brown colour with cream-coloured nitro head. Slight roast notes in the scant aroma. Very malty character. Smooth body. Slight coffee and nuttiness but otherwise just a lot of sweet pale malt character.
