Keg
Cloudy amber color. Cheesy malt and hop aroma. Good malty taste, with English hops. Nice English hops.

First retired beer I drink on draught... Hazy amber, small yellowish head. British hops, dry hopped. I seemed to get diacetyl, but gone after the first nosefull. Caramel, no doubt. Dry hoppy with UK hops if I ever had some. Wow, this is just so right - leafy, hoppy, even citrus hops, resiny. Medium bodied, just as it ought to be. Impressed. I wish the British brewers made it that well - as this was on KEG, if you please.

Draft af Ølbaren. Creamy white fair head. Red colour. Fantastic aroma and flavor. Another hoppy beer from Ølfabrikken. Be hurry and taste it while its still available at Ølbaren.

Draught. Very nice hop aroma (like most other Ølfabrikken beers). Dark copper colour. Small creamy head. Flavour is hoppy, of course. Creamy mouthfeel. Slightly dusty aftertaste.

(On tap) Unclear - almost muddy - light brown with an orange glow. Small, beige head. Hoppy, fruity nose. Light caramelish malt sweetness, with a dry hoppy finish. Very classical from this brewery, but by now I start to feel, that their beers are a bit too similar. Just adding loads of quality aroma hops doesn’t necessarily make a great brew. 281005

Aroma dominated by flowery fresh hops, pine and tobacco. Lots of bitterness, but with a round mouthfeel.

Draugt at Ølbaren. Hazy amber colour. Small off white head. Fruity aroma. Taste is sweet with and very hoppy and fruity. Lots of bitterness in the aftertaste. Then you feel the alcohol aswell.

An unclear amber beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy and malty with light notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with quite a lot of alcohol, giving a slight alcohol burn, but also lots of hops and caramel, leading to a dry end. I’d say it is too hoppy for an English Strong Ale, but it is a good beer.
