500ml bottle. Pours a clear dark brown-red colour, foamy beige head leaving lots of lacing and aroma of toffee, roast malt & coffee. Taste is dark malt caramel, chocolate, roasted coffee, with fruity & smokey notes and lingering bitterness. Thin, watery mouthfeel, medium carbonation, dry finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from M&S at RMD station drank on the 18.36 train to SNG, 30/03/13. Dark mahogony brown with a medium sized beige head that retains well. Nose carries light roast malt, sugars, touch of chocolate, nuts. Taste comprises dark toffee, dark malt, chocolate, brown sugars. Medium bodied, a little over spritzed in the carbonation front, dry finish. Ok.

Bottle from Marks and Spencer Euston on the way through. Big mineral soapy nose. Just hints of roast and choc. Some dank hop character. Looks pretty good. Dark caramel ruby notes. Large short lived darm magnolia head. Flavour is chalky, some roast astingent bite in the finish. Palete is chalky and thin / watery. Not good.

500ml bottle - Dark brown with a reddish tint. Head frothy beige/white, going quickly as we speak. Nice aromas of coffee, smoke, roasted malts, caramel. Flavours of bitter chocolate, heavy on the coffee, caramel, burnt malts. Smoky, dry finish with doesnโt last long. Average body, with a feint carbonation. Not bad.

Mild sweet aroma, but much more tastier when drunk and sits well in the throat.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Daganโs place. Thanks troubles. Clear brown color. Aroma of smoke, meaty hints, a bit of wood, a bit of chocolate and roasty notes. Sweetish flavor with malt, a bit of chocolate, a bit of smokiness and some nutty notes. Medium-bodied. Quite nice.
