Annually made for the harvest festivities of Saint-Jans-Cappel in northern France, at one point a blend of existing (yet unnamed) Van Eecke beers, but later taken over by first Terken and later Orgemont (both in France).

Straw gold; very dense fine head, white with pinkish shine. Straw, grassy, pils malt nose. Quite sweet, very malty taste, pinch of hard Dutch cheese & dry summer grain. Medium bodied at best, bit of grist and dusty slickness, certain throatwarming. Nice mix. If you can believe it, the brewing engineer didn’t recall which Van Eecke beers he had mixed for this result...
