The (top-fermented) kriek from this brewery, tasted in 2007; typical red colour, loose head, sweet cherry and candy aroma with some nutty malts shining through, sweet taste but not too cloying, very thin mouthfeel, no finish to speak of. Not good but still rather βbelievableβ.

Draught @ The Brewpub. Rated on 19.07.2010
Aroma is really sweet with sugar and artifical cherry. Flavour is sugary sweet with artifical cherry esther. Yet another oversweet kriek, not good.

Draught: Poured a reddish amber with white head. The aroma was berry and cherry. Flavor was berry but yet wheatie and not over powering in either way.

draught Amber-red, tad hazy; very little head, but lace all the same! Cherry and chocolate in the nose, as a cherry-filled praline. But a cheap one. Pale cherry taste, again chocolate in this one. Not TOO artificial. Terribly thin palate, watery and a bit slick. Tourist-type cherry. OTOH, I have tasted worse than this. Maybe not even the worst choice when visiting this place.
