Bottle @ home. Clear yellow color, huge white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is yeasty and lightly banana sweetness. Taste is also pretty yeasty and it has a banana flavor with some sweetness. Weird saison, it’s more like a weizen to me. I don’t get hops and fruityness at all just like the description says. Average to decent body, fizzy carbonation. Maybe I’ve got a bad bottle, but this is really not good. Well I really didn’t like it anyway.

Bottle at home. Clear light golden with big frothy white head. Marshmallow, vanilla cake, rice pudding, light spicy and some tropical fruits. Taste is medium sweet with hint of tartness and medium bitter finish. Medium bodied with lots of soft feeling carbonation.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 21 Aug 2014) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, cereal, grass and citrus. Malty, fruity taste with bread, cereal, citrus, a generous grassy bitterness and a spicy touch in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty saison. (According to the board: Kompaan Lente Saison 6.5%, but I suspect it’s this one.)

On tap at PRNH Meibockfestival, courtesy of JulienHuxley. Murky golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma of hay, straw, dry malty, some citrus. Flavour is dry, light grainy, hay, citrus, almost classic saison-like. Dry and refreshing, light floral sweetness. Good.
