Bottle shared. Black with small creamy light brown head. After Eights! Roast, light licorice, quite earthy, strong spicy mint, lots of dark chocolate, molasses, thick syrupy malts, more chocolate mints. Over medium sweet and bitter. Full thick creamy body with low carbonation. At first it was a bit too much After Eights, but there’s some complexity after a while. Nice.

On tap at Ghetto Something, Koper. Pours pitch black, topped with a very large beige head, very lasting and creamy. Gentle chocolate and coffee nose, a bit more chocolate with some peppermint. Nice. Sweeter start, quite strong chocolate sweetness, very mild coffee presence. Gentle bitterness in the end. Lasting though gentler aftertaste. No alcohol presence, just a hint of warmth in the aftertaste. Very smooth, full body and silky texture. Great one.

Bottle picked up from Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte, West Flanders, Belgium, shared with Dad at Kilburn, Derbyshire Friday 8th June 2018 This has lots of mint, reminds me of a mint choc' ice cream. Lots and lots of chocolate, creamy, boozy. Black with a slim off white head. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.9

On tap, shared with CanCrusher @ Ghetto Something. Aroma of hazelnut, roasted malt, coffee, mint, clove, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pitch black color with large creamy brown head and nice lacing. Taste starts with sweet and rich roasted malt, coffee and chocolate, following is nutty and spicy, mouthfeel is smooth and warm, while finish is mild bitter. Full body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. So tasty that every sip stayed in my mouth for ages...
Taster at Ghetto Something Pub;crazy aroma of mint chocolate (aftereight),dark sugars & dark chocolate, cocoa, light dark fruits, liquid choc

Draft at City Tap House. Not much on appearance, but gets great. Aroma is roasty with minty notes. Taste adds more mint, but feels amazing. Mellowing, but in your face.

(Tap sample @ MBCC 2017 Red Session, Copenhagen) Pours black with a small dark tan head. Notes of roasty malt with molasses, fudge, dark chocolate, fresh peppermint, Girl Scout cookies, hint of licorice. Sweet through the sip finishing semi-dry with lots of persistent mint and chocolate. Medium-full body, average carb. Not complex at all, it's a one-note bold chocolate-mint thing, but it's actually a pretty tasty one at the sample level anyway.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours an opaque jet black with a creamy, light brown head. Distinct mint in the nose - as in After Eight! Blending in with some chocolate. Rich body, roasty and still minty. However the mint now becomes more herbal and medicinal turning the beer into cough syrup which is less than pleasing. Started out well, landed in a less pleasant way. 060318
