Tap at the Go Ten Bar & Cafe, Luxembourg City. Pours mahogany brown with a lasting beige head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, butter, soy sauce, dark fruits. Medium sweetness, light bitterness, touch of sour. Medium body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Not convinced this is as intended.

Tap @ Go Ten, Luxembourg. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are soy, roast malt, caramel, fruits, earth, butter and hops. Something gone wrong here in this brew.

330ml bottle at home on 9th Oct 2015. The bottle was well out of date: 3rd May 2015, so some 10 years locked away in a mates cellar in Luxembourg. Came out black with a full tanned coloured head. Malty with a semi-sweet caramel lead in both the nose and taste, some fruity notes in there too. A little thin body depth wise but otherwise it was a decent beer considering how old it was, slightly ’on the turn’ with a mild vinegar feel to be honest, but pleased I got the chance to try it. Scored objectively.

Säuerlich-malziger Beginn. Später verschiebt sich das Aroma zum Malzigen hin, leider wird das Bier aber gleichzeitig wässrig. Minimale Röstnoten, geringe Schokoladigkeit. Zum Ende wässrig bitter. Verbesserungswürdig! 12/5/6/8//7

Dark color, creamy head. Peculiar aroma, malt, roasted malt, coffee, cream, cheesy yeast. Medium body structure, sweet, some roasted malt; but both the malt and roasted malt are too soft. The flavor is not up to the expectations after the aroma.

(Bottle 33 cl) Comes simply as "Redange Quaffit Stout" - nothing "okult" here. Slightly hazy mahogany with a reddish hue. Creamy, beige head leaving a neat lacework. Lightly cocoaish nose. Not overwhelmingly full-bodied with some lightly burned malt. Vinous and very lovely with notes of cocoa and coffee. Light-bitter finish. Unusual but very nice. Organic. What a pity if this brewery is now out of business. 120206

A black beer with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of fruit, coffee, and malt. The flavor is sweet with roasted notes as well as notes of chocolate and coffee, leading up to a very dry end.

Beer has changed name to Quaffit Stout. Gushing to enormous grey-brown head. Beer colour of hazy Coca-Cola. Nose at first a bit sourish (cap showed signs of rather primitive bottling methods) Further nose of old oakwood and dark grain. There is a bit of acidity in the taste, but more of the kind I link to burnt grain. Coffee, stale tobacco. The effervescence is all in the head, the beer is rather flat. Medium-bodied. Tastes tired, somehow. It is very "quaffable", yes - but is it worth searching 'the Grand Duchy' for? Ho-hum stout.
