Draught at the brewery’s premises in 2007, sold there at the time as Grand Place AmbrΓ©e. Orange blond, pale-ale like beer with caramel and very nutty malt character, dried fruits, thin and almost watery mouthfeel, grassy hops in the finish. More reminiscent of an English bitter than a true Belgian amber ale.

Rather light and somewhat fresh aroma with some fruitiness. Flavour is also very light with some fruits and slight hoppiness. Thin palate. Too thin and light, easy to forget.

Amber color, a bit tanned head. Same toffee, honey aroma than in their pils. Light bodied with herbs and a bit of smoke. Refreshing, easy to drink but plain.

[Draft at ZBF 2004] An amber beer with a fine lazing though disappearing head. The aroma is of malt, straw, aroma hops, and yeast. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, bread, and aroma hops. It has afine bitter end.

Hazy amber, no head. Ever so slightly peanuts nose - amber malt? Diacetyl - UGH! - and not much else in the taste. Fizzy carbonation. This beer is not just pretty awful - it's a disgrace for Belgium. And in the country's touristic center!!!
