Had this back in 1997. Winter beer from their celebratory specials. Decent dark fruit beer, a bit spicy, one of the better of the series. Still far from great though.

Dark malts in nose and taste, grain and some spiciness in the nose. Somme bitter chocolate but mainly sweetness in the flavour. Thinnish mouthfeel, (hazel)nutty flavour by ageing in palate
