Bottle. Dark brown color. Soft roast with a hint of smoke and toffee in the aroma. Whisky. Full bodied. Sweet, alcoholic flavor with roast, toffee, smoke , vanilla and clearly noticeable whisky. Warming alcohol.

Black with lasting thin head. Aroma has a nice mix of roasted coffee and sweet whisky malts. Texture is thick, smooth and oily. Full roasted malt flavour. Coffee and whisky fight for supremacy and both win. Warming alcohol comes through in the finish.

Sampled at NSF Den Bosch. Dark brown color, medium sized light brown colored head. Smell and taste malts, some alcohol but within limits, some roast, brown malts, a bit roasty, raisins lightly, dark fruit and dark malt bitterness. Barrel aged? Hmm yeah there are some influences but not very prominently. Pretty nice though. 8-3-8-4-15.

Gedronken tijdens bierfestival Den Bosch. Kleur is donkerbruin Aroma van hout, wijn en whisky. Jammer dat de smaak net iets te zoet is. Nasmaak heeft iets pittigs.

Geprobeerd met Inoven, Roelzie1986 en Benzai op het Nederlands Speciaalbier festival in den Bosch. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een crème schuimlaagje. Het een houtige gebrande geur. De smaak is houtig, gebrand en bourbon achtig.

Bottle. Color: Almost black, very thin beige head. Aroma: Roasted malt, chocolate, Bourbon and smoky hints. Taste: Roasted malt, chocolate, coffee,vanilla, Bourbon, boozy notes. Hints of nuts, dark fruit, wood and liquorice. Medium sweet, moderate to medium bitterness. Over medium body, almost no carbonation. The taste itself is ok, but this beer needs more carbonation. Very slick, flat mouthfeel. I would love to taste this beer again with a good amount of carbonation.
