Draught at Zeezicht. Nice opaque black color with a full sized light brown colored head. Smell and taste are quite bland. Or weak at least. Malts, some dark malts, lightly some malt bitters. Slight lingering roasty notes. Weak body, watery texture, low carbonation. Meh. Really disappointing. 5-4-5-1-9.

Sample at the North Park taproom. Dark brown color with a thin tan head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Sparse strings of lace. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and anise. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, chocolate and mild hops. The finish is roasty with a malt and coffee aftertaste. Decent overall.
