A cocoa infused Imperial Stout that’s been carefully aged in bourbon barrels. Opaque black in color with a dark brown head. Big chocolate aroma with notes of espresso, blackstrap molasses, dark sweet toffee and dark fruit. Barrel aging adds heady notes of vanilla and bourbon.

Bomber at share, 2015 vintage. What a great brew to follow my tasting of Chocolate Rain. Dark brown pour yields a small beige head. Aroma is chocolate, light vanilla and bourbon. ore chocolate in the taste, roasty malts with light bitterness make their appearance. Lingering warmth. AAnother classic that has done great in the cellar.

Refrigerated September 2017 brown bomber poured into a glass. Black with medium light brown head. Aroma is bourbon, medium/thick body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is bourbon, dark chocolate, and booze. I prefer this to the regular Sexual Chocolate.

CBS vertical tasting @ Tim's. Thank you for sharing Jon. Dark brown pour, not too much foam just some beige foam. Soy sauce in the nose, leather and dark chocolate, blackberries. Vanilla and bourbon barrel is coming out. Taste is quite intense, bitter and roasty, barrel booze coming through. Chilli heat and lots of spices leasing to bitter and umami-filled finish. Good but well, probably difficult to evaluate after that last beer we had just before this one. Had also 2015 version @ bottle share @ Hansen's, thanks Brandon. Dark pour with some beige bubbles on the top. Sweet toffee nose some bourbon coconut and vanilla. Light peat and some smoke there. Nice liquid chocolate too. tastes sweet creamy some chillies, bit of peat and lots of cocoa, toffee and chocolate. Sweet and creamy with a nice chocolaty chilli tingle. Tasty. Rating moved from 3.9 to 4.1.

Pitch black color. Thin dark brown color. Big chocolate vanilla, coffee, bourbon, molasses in the nose. Medium carbonation, the mouth feel isn’t spectacular but good with dark chocolate, vanilla bourbon, molasses, really nice with oak. The mouth feel isn’t that fantastic but ok.

Bomber shared. Pours a deep brown with a small bit of head that lingers. Creamy milk chocolate, vanilla and bourbon on the nose. More of the same on the palate. Sweet but with some charred oak, and roasted cacao nib towards the back end. Finish is balanced and lingers. Decadent. --- Beer merged from original tick of Bourbon Barrel Aged Sexual Chocolate on 16 Dec 2016 at 22:15 - Score: 9. Original review text: Creamy milk chocolate, vanilla and bourbon. Tap at Snallyghaster 2016 showing pitch black with half a finger of latte colored foam. The nose shows barely anything except a few notes of soy sauce. The palate is full bodied - very oily and slick with full but very smooth carbonation. Strong undertones of dark chocolate. Vanilla forward with light notes of bourbon and a light burnt dark chocolate bitterness on the finish.
