Bottle. Brown-ish pour. Aroma of rye, raisin, licorice, dates, caramelised malt and malt. Taste has creamy rye, iron, caramel, licorice, chocolate, nuts, caramelised malt and a little raisin. Like a brown ale with rye. Not bad, but also not very interesting.

Bottle [thanks TomHendriksen] at home. Almost opaque brown color, slight red glare, medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, brown malts, sweetish dark fruit notes, lightly a hint of raisins but also slightly nutty and a slight distant light bitter hint. Probably the rye. Medium body and carbonation. Quite ok.

Flesje gekregen van Tomhendriksen. Diep donkerbruin bier met mooie beige schuimkraag. Aroma van pruimen en donker fruit. Smaak fruitig en iets koffieachtig. Jammer dat de smaak snel weg ebt.

Geprobeerd van tap, met LiekevdV bij Stadsbrouwerij Eindhoven. Het is een donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een volle crèmekleurige schuimkraag. Het heeft een gebrande moutige geur. De smaak is koffie achtig, bitter en rogge.
