Bottle from beersofeurope.com. Light brown pour with an off-white fluffy head. Lasts a fair while. Good carbonation. Aromas of strawberries, peaches, caramel, sweet spices, herbs. Liked the whiff of this one. Has an aged quality about it. Flavours of herbs, grass, coacoa, wood, slight sourness. Warming alcohol, massages the throat. Finishes dry and hoppy. Interesting.

33cl bottle cloudy brown, small fluffy light brown head. sweet caramel, tofee, faint dark fruits, alcohol in the aroma, perhaps also faint orange peel. flavor is sweet, hard caramel, only very faint dark fruits. flavor is actually very good, a clean caramelly profile, without being too sweet or cloying. some bitterness to balance, but not taking my attention away from the nice home-made-hard-caramel sort of flavor. the faind dark fruity raisiny flavor rounds up the beer nicely.

Bottle: Poured a hazy dirty brown color ale with a medium size foamy head with great retention and good lacing. Aroma of spicy yeast and medium sweet Belgian malt with unrefined grain ester. Taste is a weird mix between some sweet malt and unrefined stale grain notes with a spicy and as well bready yeast completing the mix. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no signs of alcohol. Not bad though mix of flavor is somewhat strange and not completely balanced.

Medium white head. Hazy brown body. Fruity strawberry and plastic aroma. Dryish-sweet papery strawberry taste with hot peppery notes. Fullish body. Hot mouthfeel. Dry herbal fruity aftertaste. I expected more than this. (0.33l bottle.)

[33cl bottle] Hazy, reddish amber colour with a big and beige foamy head. Sweet and strong roasted malty aroma with anise, caramel and dark berries, giving a light acidic touch. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, full bodied with a soft carbonation. Strong malty and toasted taste with a delicate fruit-character, accompanied by caramel and light spicy notes. Sweet and solid malty finish, leaving a kind of sugary bonbon glacé on the tongue. A bit on the sweet side but nevertheless an aromatic brew [26.I.09].
