On tap at Beer Revolution, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium roasted malt, some caramel and dark fruitiness. Flavour is hugely fruity, with lots of dark fruits, light roast and some caramel. Not an overly complex impie, but it's well-balanced. Good stuff.

Tap at SF Beer Week Opening Gala. Pours black. Aroma: Vanilla, grass, fresh roasted coffee beans, little chocolate. Heavy body, sweet but not overpowered. Still roasty. Vanilla again. Palate is rather short, still sweet, pleasantly simple. Nice.

Tap. Pours opaque black, medium tan head, creamy, dissipating leaving great lacing behind. Aroma is burned malt, heavy roast, ashtray. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, mostly a roast note, not much chocolate or molasses. Medium body. I hear this one is adding in bourbon barrels; not sure it has the body or malt complexity to come out of that process intact, but I guess we shall see.
