Bottle from the brewery. And third beer and I'm done. Dear me. Not an extraordinary beer, but warming alcohol exactly fits the purpose and is great for Christmas dinner. Good.

500ml bottle, 8.9 % abv, kindly shared by djoeye. Naked at the top. Dotted spots on the glass, Almost black in body appearance. Dark bread on the nose, hints of dark fruits. Rather rich flavour character with impact of dark fruits, prunes, coffee, ash, and bread, sherry impression. Sweet malt-fruity ending with warmth from the alcohol. Medium bodied and smooth on the swallow. Nice, just a tad too sweet in the long run. (Tromsø 22.07.207).

Bottle, courtesy of EuroSanta Cuso. Pours dark brown with a soft smooth foam. Aroma is light chocolate and coffee, quite roasty, but still as gentle as the foam promises. Medium body with a moderate sweetness and a soft texture. Very round and balanced. Palate continues like that. Some hints of the actual strength are there, but most of the ABV is well hidden. Great experience.

Bottle, thanks cuso, big frothy bubbly head, dark brown color with just a little reddish hues, earthy, coffee aroma with some dark bread, aroma of chocolate with some cola, hay and graininess, quite strong sourness, very light bitterness, light bodied. A bit old and not too exciting.

Bottle (Diky, Cuso!): Very deep amber coloured with ruby spots, smaller stable creamy off-white head; sweet-bitter nose of toasted malt, nuts, milk-chocolate and caramel, shy hops in the Background; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, smooth MF; lingering bitter and sweet finish, presenting the same flavours as the nose. Well crafted stuff, easy drinkable...

Many thanks to MisoW for this beer. Danke Michal!

Tap at RJ. Wonderful malty toasty bready caramely aroma with light fruits. These guys are becoming good at this. Clear dark brown colour, soft beige head, moderate duration. Taste is mostly malty, caramel, toasty. Moderate fruitiness, moderate alcohol poking out, but still bearable. Notes of coffee in the finish. Full body, chewy. Sipper, but good at that. Very good IMO.

BOTTLE 33CL from Cuso. Thanks, Imro!
Look: deep red-brown almost black with a mocha small frothy head with poor retention.
Aroma: yeasty with vanilla-like sweetness, licorice, chocolate, not too rich.
Taste: roasted malts, some hops, burnt sugar, sweet but not too sweet, body is quite light for 8 abv, a light acid note, a bit of phenolic touch but no alcohol.
For its big OG feels more like a tmavy on steroids than a bock.

Malzig schokoladiger aber kaum süßer Antrunk. Intensiver und auch etwas süßer im Mittelteil, vergorenen bananig, wenig herb. Rundes, nicht übertriebenes Bier das durch Summe Vollmundigkeit gefällt. 10/11/10/10/7/11
