opalescent pale golden colour, moderate sized ecru-ish white head; aroma of orange, some grapefruit, resiny and (tropical) fruity notes; hoppy bittery taste with similar notes to the aroma, some grassy and green herbal notes; not bad

[as Broken City West Coast Ipa, ABV 6.4%] Lattina. Il gusto al naso resta attratto dal luppolo. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di amaro. Il retrogusto è intenso. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, crosta di pane, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, agrumi, pompelmo, arancia amara e ananas.

Tap at CBFZ 2017. Pours cloudy amber. Aroma is super citric, green, soapy. Body is lightish, green, bitter, barely any malt backbone. Lively carbonation but no sweetness. Dry palate. Not sure where the malts and the retronasal flavours went in this beer. Apparently only into alcohol and nothing else?
