The original Jessenhofke beer, which later became Jessenhofke Tripel and eventually Jessenhofke TRPL. Uses garlic.
Drink matig doch regelmatig.

Biobier sampled from a bottle at BBF in Oslo. Slightly foggy, golden body under a lasting, white head. Sweet spicy aroma. Organic hops and rich herbal-spicy taste where a light note of garlic can detected. Fruity and yeasty ending. Medium to full bodied. Masked alcohol (10.04.2008)

ZBF08. Cloudy golden colour. Nice stable creamy white head. Spicy flavour, more like pepper. Quite malty. Good. Cannot taste any garlic, but nice.

ZBF 2008 on the Saturday Some vanilla and hops on the nose of this nice looking golden/amber beer. Softness and creaminess combine with some sweetness and spices, but it’s the bitterness and fruits that start to push through and make this one quite a decent little beer.

Bottle Blond, clear body. Creamy, white, longlasting head. Lightly hoppy aroma. Not very interesting. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Not exciting at all.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thick lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of garlic. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of spices (normal beer spices like coriander etc.) as well as garlic, leading to a dry bitter and spicy finish. The body is thicker than medium.

33 cL bottle thanks to Ungstrup. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Very herbal garlic aroma. Flavour is soft malty but mainly heavy garlic flavour. Soft finish, once I get past the garlic it is okay but the garlic aroma ruines this beer for me.

Bottle: Bubbly golden color with a white color head. The aroma is a pungent hoppy floral. The taste is a acidic floral with some harvesty grass flavor.

Medium white head. Hazy yellow body with lots of carbonation. Fruity, sweetish, herbal aroma with mealy, gingery notes. Sweet bitterish rounded fruity caramel taste with herbal notes. Somewhat spicy and peppery. Dry, herbal aftertaste. Not bad, but not great. (0.33l bottle.)
