Appearance: Cage and cork. Dark orange golden, clear. Big, off-white head. Aroma: Ripe fruits, prunes. Oranges and some alcohol. Taste: Ripe, dark fruits. Some honey sweetness, oranges. Warming, some alcohol. Bought: Amstein, 375 ml, CHF 6.03 Info: 10/3-2023, BB: 31/12-2023

hazy orange to amber colour, one inch of beige-ish - ecru-ish head; aroma of dried apricot, orange zest, caramellish, slight honey and alcoholic notes; taste has basically the same notes with definite hoppiness; good one

Stark hefiger, alkoholisch herber Beginn. Kräutrig, etwas trocken, rund. Kräutrig bleibend, süßlich, mittellanger Abgang. Schwer. 9/10/8/9/12/9

At Zurich Bier Festival 2017. Pours foggy lightish amber. Aroma of zest, orange peel, low fruit, some grains, low aroma altogether. Medium to heavy palate, slick, sweet, but not many flavours either, little pepper. Lingering sugar palate. Good.
