Aus der Flasche (bbe 04-2019) im 2018-11 getrunken. Dieses dunkle Bier mit leichten rötlichen Stich erinnert irgendwie nicht an ein Barley Wine sondern eher an ein English Strong Ale was leicht Hopfenbetohnt ist. Es hat ein malzigen Körper der mit einer leichter Citrusnoten wie bei IPA's unterlegt ist. Ein sauberes Ale was echt gefällt.

At the Craftival 2018 - Freiburgs Craft Beer Festival. Pours a dark yellow color. The aroma was bready, toasty, malty and had notes of caramel.

From tap. Pours hazy orange to light brown. Breadish, slight caramelish. Sweet and toasted malty. Sweet, caramelish and toasted. Bitter and dry malty to caramelish finish.

Bottle at Erzbierschof MC. Pours cloudy brown. Aroma is rather soft, with some malts, caramel toffee, but low. Body is medium, very sweet, almost candy, not much else. Soft carbonation. Okay, but probably too young right now.
