Pours a slightly hazy golden with a creamy finger thick off white head. Aroma is sweet tropical hops with apricots and mango, perfume and rosebuds, as well as some roasted malts with toffee. Full body with soft carbonation. Flavour is bitter with orange peel and grapefruit, some sweet hoppy notes of mango and honey and a touch of roasted malts with toffee thrown in for the balance. Fruity bitter finish with bitter grapefruit hoppiness.

BOTTLE 50CL from Cunningham. Thanks, Henrik!
Look: clear with sediment, big light beige frothy to creamy head.
Aroma: intense aroma of tropical fruit, mango, pine-apple.
Taste: tropical fruit, moderate piney bitterness with a bitter herbal note. Nothing fancy, just a well-made IPA.

Flaska från kompis. Passion, grape och citrus i doften. Mjuk och krämig munkänsla. Suverän balans mellan sötma och beska. Wow, en av sommarens största överraskningar.

Pours deep golden/orange. Stable head. Intensive aroma of oranges, mango and other tropical fruits, some coffee. Actually, we tasted two different batches (714, tapped 2014-02-26, and 731, tapped 2014-03-26) on 2014-06-20. #714 has a much more distinct hop aroma, while #731 tastes more like an traditional English IPA, tending more to the malty side with less hops aroma. #731 is a little darker than #714. Tasting the two batches side by side, we had never considered them being the same beer. We blame it on the somewhat restricted storing conditions at Sola airport where we bought the bottles ... or did they really change the receipe that much?! 2016-03-18: On tap at Øst, Stavanger. The batch tasted is only a few days old. Aroma of pine needles, tropical fruits. Tastes quite sweet, with distinct bitterness.
