On tap at the Good Measure, Bristol 9/3/2019. Amber in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Ripe cereal malts, some leafy hops, touch of berry fruit and dryish finish with a slight earthiness. Good.

Cask in Edinburgh. Pours clear dark amber. Aroma is caramel, toasted malts, pine needles. Body is medium, quite sweet, pine needles again, some caramel, quite bitter too but not overwhelming. Soft texture, and flat of course. Does not matter, this works.

Cask at Deacon Brodies, Edinburgh. It pours hazy red amber with a small bubbly white head. The aroma is fairly subdued, malt - driven, brown bread, light spice and cereal. The taste is drying, bitter, bit grain, cereal, earthy, leather, brown bread and tannin with a drying finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A bit muddled. A pretty forgettable malt driven ale. Meh.
