440mL can, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out rich roasted malt, dark cocoa, and earthy coffee. Flavour is rich and roasty, with lots of roasted malt, dark dry cocoa, bit of espresso, and earthy notes. Roasted, dry, bitter, and chocolatey finish. This is fantastic.

Can at Heidrun, HW, 24/12/19. Pitch black with a solid dirty tan head. Nose is rich roast, charr, ashen tones, dusty dried fruits, burnt toffee, faint coffee bean. Taste comprises cacao nibs, roast malts, charr, leather, fruit cake, scorched earth, burnt biscuit. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, drying close. Solid flavoursome stout with a big roasty bite running throughout.

On tap @Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto (Helsinki). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma beige media. Al naso note di caffè, melassa, cioccolato. In bocca è rotonda, bilanciata, appagante, con attacco dolce e chiusura amara perfetta. Corpo medio, carbonazione medio-leggera. Ottima davvero.

Tap @ Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Poured pretty much black in color with an off white head. Strong roasted malty aroma, with good amount of coffee and hop bitterness as well. Tobacco and coffee beany flavors. Dry, bitter finish. Solid stuff.

13/11/2019. Can at Hop Stop, reigate. Pours black with a solid tan coloured head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, dark fruits, light coffee and wood, with some liquorice and ashy notes. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Quite full bodied, slick texture, average carbonation. Bitter roasted, chocolate finish. Enjoyable.
