Na het succes van Groot Geschapen is er nu ook een heerlijk dubbel bier verkrijgbaar. Met vier soorten gerst volmout gebrouwen, is het een uitgebalanceerd en toegankelijk bier geworden. Ga er maar eens lekker voor zitten want hij is het drinken dubbel en Dwars waard.

Fles 33cl bij de Hessenkar in Achterveld. Caramel, zoetig, chocoladetonen, wat vanille, wat nutty, licht droog, bitters, fruitje. (31-12-2023).

0.33 l bottle from 'Ace Drinks', best before 2022. Hazy, brown with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish, gently roasty-malty and a bit yeasty-spicy aroma of caramel, chocolate and a touch of clove. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently roasty-malty and quite yeasty-spicy taste of chocolate, caramel, clove and some vanilla, followed by a medium long, rather yeasty-spicy, gently bitter and a bit roasty finish. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Not great but still one of the better beers from NHB.

Many thanks to Mallorn for the bottle in the RB Euro Trade 02/20 - Cheers! 🍻. Foamy off white head left a rocky cover on a light brown still body. Chocolate, malt & spiced aroma. Medium bodied, highly carbonated with a dry clean finish. Chocolate, nutty, sweet, red berry & caramel tastes. Nice one!
