Collaboration with Ehren "Sensei" Schmidt at Mikkeller Baghaven. We brewed a traditional saison together and once it arrived in Belgium, it was blended with 1, 2 & 3 year old lambic, and aged on Würzer barrels. Bottled February 2019

Wild festival. Hazy golden. Sour grainy, grapey, stone fruity. Easy drinking. Medium sour. Medium body and soft carbonation.

I definitely prefer the fruitier lambic ones than this. It's absolutely very well made, just not really my thing. Pretty dry, lots of straw. Wood, hint of white wine/grape, something spicy from the saison. It definitely works.

Bottle at Foeders, Amsterdam. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is Saison yeasty, fresh citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate sour, with a crisp, fresh, cheesy, yeasty, mineral acid citrus palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle shared at Foeders. Fairly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of barnyard funk, manure, horse blanket and citrus. Flavour is moderate sour. Medium bodied with light carbonation.
