Bottle at MAD tasting, cheers McNeillR! Pours murky brown, no head. Big raspberry aroma, big raspberry taste. Would have liked a bit more porter notes, but a nice beer nonetheless.

On tap at Paradiso Dupont. Pours a murky black with some creamy, white head. Nose has some berry, bits of jam, a little inky, vegetal. Flavor follows, some malt, bits of acid, some raw berry, a little squid ink, some roasted vegetables. Medium bodied, acetic finish.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Dark brown color, near black, with small compact head. Clear aroma of raspberries and some honey. Highly carbonated; the mouthfeel is rather dry; the underlying porter seems to be good, with some chocolate traits, although the flavor is dominated by real raspberry and with a good level of sourness too, leading to a mildly astringent final.
Bold beer.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a dark purple brown with a small beige head. Nose brings out tart raspberries, some light toasted malt and gentle acidity. Flavour brings out loads of fresh pithy raspberries, moderate tartness and gentle acidity. Very well-constructed, with just enough tartness. Very good.

Rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch säuerlich fruchtig, röstmmalzig. Geschmack nach sauren Himbeeren, schokoladig.

On tap at The Rake Borough Market. Dark brown almost black beer no head. Sour raspberry flavour is attractive. Some light chocolate flavour. Raspberry pippy. Some sourness but not extreme. Very drinkable I thought. Lacked condition and was way too cold. Good.

Keg at the Rake. It pours cloudy deep brown with a small dirty beige head. The nose is earthy, roasted malt, dark chocolate, tangy berry and raspberry jam. The taste is tart raspberry and jammy fruits upfront, then roasted malt, toast, tang, cocoa, dirt and some acidity in the background. Light-Medium body and fine carbonation. Balance is very good and aids the drinkablity. Perhaps a touch thin, but still rather nice overall.

Keg at the Rake, 30/03/14. Murky dark mahogony brown with purple tinges and a thin beige covering that soon vanishes into the ether. Nose is tarte raspberry, light cherry skin, earthy cocoa, dark toffee notes. Taste comprises chocolate dipped raspberries, earthy, tangy black forest gateux smoothie, lactic ring. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent easy drinking soured porter.
