A maroon 'Dubbel' with a malty and spicy fragrance, a mildly bitter flavour and a dry aftertaste. Her sweet scents of licorice and rock candy accompany her full taste of fruit and spices. This fiery flame has a spicy character but is mild to handle.

Little cloudy red brown beer, creamy light beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet malty, caramel, raisins, alcohol, dried fruits, little chocolaty. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: dried fruits, oranges, sweet sugary touch, bit vinous, slightly sour, some caramel. Aftertaste: orange peel, bit sweet ,lots of raisins, dried figs, brown sugar and caramel, little bitter in the end. The bottle was a bit old, but it's a mighty beer.

Flaske 0,33l på ’t Antwaerps Bierhuiske 28 Apr 11. Dyp mørkebrun. Lavt skum. Fruktig & krydret aroma. Smaken: Krydder. Litt ensformig og i søteste laget - men ok.

bottle@’t Antwaerps Bierhuiske dark brown with a ruby hue, tanned head, initial taste is sweet caramel mixed with malts & touch of liquorice, cane sugar, medium roast mixed in with a decent amount of spices which come forward a bit more in the aftertaste, touch of overripe berries & ripe dark fruits, tastes a bit like they might have used this as the base to make their Oesterstout

Bottle. It’s an unclear, reddish brown beer with a finger-thick, dense, beige head. Raspberries, sweetness and some caramel hints on the nose. The flavor is sweet with dried fruits, caramel and hints of licorice and alcohol, finishing with raspberry, licorice and sweetness. Quite smooth on the palate, full-bodied and with some warmth. A quite nice one, combining flavors in an unusual way. 110513
