Framboise Oud Beersel harmonizes the authentic taste of Oude Lambiek and the fruity flavour of ripe raspberries.
A delicate balance of soft lambic and real raspberries provides a smooth natural beer.
The use of real raspberries and lambic matured in wooden barrels, results in an exceptionally subtle and refreshing beer.

Ingredients: water, 220 g of raspberries/l, 50 g of sour cherries/l, malted barley, wheat, hops

Cloudy, reddish color and an off-white head. Wonderful raspberry nose. Less sweet taste than expected, nice decent bitterness, finish with bitter raspberry pips.

Corked bottle, courtesy of Sergey, bb 06/06/2022, bottled 4y before
Dark colour, brown with minimal red hue. The dominant character is berry jam, generic, little from the raspberry; almost no acidity; it seems quite oxidized. Modest.

375ml from Denman LRS at Alex's. Appearance: hazy copper with a tan head. Aroma: raspberry jam with some slight acidity and funk. Taste: along the same lines, kind of fermented raspberry jam 😁. Overall: not bad.
