Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Narvik. Hazy golden/orange with a white head. Aroma of grass, malt, hops and some fruit. Similar taste. The body was medium as was the bitterness. The finish was on the dry side.

Bottle. It pours an unclear orange-golden colored body and a finger thick off-white head. Curtains. The aroma is perhaps a bit weak, but pleasant, with piney, lightly grassy hops and some citrus zest. There’s some bready, lightly sweet malts in the flavor, with a good bitterness, pine cones, citrus zest and a touch of freshly mown grass. Quite full bodied, a tad rough on the carbonation, and semi dry. Lasting finish with sweetness slightly overpowered by the bitterness. A straight-forward IPA, sort of old-fashioned, but at least it drinks easily. 170426

Varm gyldengul. Høyt kritthvitt skum som daler veldig sakte. Litt uklar. Forsiktig plommearoma. Smaken en blanding av plommer & medisin(?). Avslutter tørt. Mye bunnfall. Uvariert.

Small white head. Quite hoppy at first, but now that’s dissipated and there’s a kind of sugary earl grey aroma with floral notes. Dryish perfumy tropical fruit taste with earthy mineraly gooseberry notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel, with slightly low carbonation. Dryish floral sugary perfumy aftertaste with strawberry chewing gum notes. I’m usually a big fan of this brewery, but this didn’t really please. Maybe growing IPA hops in Europe just isn’t a good idea. (0.33l bottle, from wine monopoly, Strømmen.)

330ml bottle. Unclear orange/golden body with a big off-white head. Looks great. Relatively light aroma, was expecting more in the nose with reference to the label and text, even if considering more traditional European hop verities. There is some light malt, mild grassy hops and hint of flowers. The aroma reminds me more of a good lager actually. Flavor is quite light as well, malty with a slightly harsh grassy bitterness and a hint of flowers and mushroom. Medium body and moderate in aftertaste with a hint of bitterness. I like the idea but this time it ends up rather plain and boring imo.

Hazy dark golden with a white head - Hoppy aroma with hints of fruit - Malt body to support a nice hoppy flavour with some fruity and spicy notes - The malt and hoppy flavours goes into the finish - This was nice

0.33l bottle, no batch number. This is a really rather cloudy looking almost brown golden colored beer with a medium sized hefty lacing off-white head on the top. It smells, well, not too much honestly. Mild all the way. Think I'll have to leave the glass for an while and try again later. Soft hoppy traces, a little grass and hints of sweet melon. Not a bad, just a really anonymous aroma. It has a earthy taste this. Dusty almost and I have to say not very good. It's thin oily in the mouth and it's just above average on the carbonation. Really pungent harsh and yeasty. On the upside its perfectly balanced and somewhat drinkable, but the taste is just not for my palate. Quickly forgotten I'm afraid. 11.02.2017
