Boskeun is the nickname of Jo, one of the two brothers who preferred to brew blond beer at home. It is a special Easter beer, one of the first real Belgian Easter beers. (Slaghmuylder's paasbier being first). It has been brewed with pale malt, Golding hops, cane sugar and refermented in the bottle. It's a seasonal beer, so we suggest not to keep it eternally. The name Boskeun means rabbit of the wood (virgin wood, maybe?) and the label shows it, sampling the last brew.

Flaska från beernavigator. Stor typiskt belgisk doft. Mycket pomerans, apelsin, blomarom, bra balans, tydlig pomeransbeska.

31/03/2013 330ml bottle (vintage 2010). Ambrata intensa, lievemente torbida, abbondante schiuma bianco-beige abbastanza persistente. Naso intenso, miele amaro e spezie, datteri, frutta candita, banana, leggera ossidazione.

another beer i forgot to rate so far .. i must confess, of all the beers i ’rate from memorie’ i might believe this is the one i remember the least. so prob will re-rate when i can . i remember it being blonde, taste is something more specific than the 1000 equal-tasting belgian blondes, this is somewhat spicy. ok, i liked it. very cool idea, btw . easter beer !

Wow, that’s great! Nice orange colour with a huge creamy white head. Smells honey, fruits and flowers. Spiced taste, sweet, dry in the end. Alcohol perfectly balanced. Full bodied, rounded beer. An amazing beer!

Interesting brew here. Just now that i’m seeing all these abv do i understand why i was feeling it so much wednesday. Pours hazy golden with yeasty, spicy nose. tastes of floral hops, grapefruit, light funk, pepper, honey, apples, and light soap and brandy. a spring seasonal just as winter starts what gives?

Bottle at GBBF 2012. It pours cloudy golden yellow, with a gigantic white head. The nose is farmyard, manure, TCP, dough, hay, tinned peach and sweet pear. The taste is spicy yeast, pear, apple, melon, dough, hay, underlying alcohol warmth and white sugar, with a bitter-sweet finish. Medium-full body and lively carbonation. Too sweet for my taste, but a well made beer nonetheless.
