Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks Vova. 2017 bottle. Black, quickly-dissipating huge tan head. Peaty, chocolate, roast, coffee, vanilla, wood, chocolate, sweetish, a bit sourish, umami, soy sauce, alcohol, very over-carbonated. Once the carbonation settles it's a lot better.

Caña 8cl en De Struisse Brouwers. Kasteelstraat 50, 8640 Oostvleteren. Bélgica. 09..09..2017 (r05) ... Ardberg barrel aged... Color Negro intenso con espuma beige oscuro, que queda en fina corona. Sabores intensos tostados y carbonizados con predominio de turbas seca al final y una gran sensación licorosa de whisky también seco, turboso y salado. Maderas empapadas y carbonizados en whisky. Cuerpo líquido alicorada, seco al final, fino y ligeramente cremoso. Increíble, increíble cerveza, para repetir sin duda alguna.

750ml bottle @ Black Damnation tasting, Koht, Tallinn. Bottle #944/2000. Pours pitch black with a small head. Aroma of roasty malts, syrup, wood, oak, peat, leather, coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is smooth, peaty, slightly syrupy and sweet, hints of stingy wood, oak, whisky, sweet licorice, honey and warming alcohol. Finish is slightly boozy and syrupy with loads of peat, smoke, some wood and whisky, hints of honey and leather.

Smell of tar, berries, oak, wine. Black colour, dark brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, licorice, oak, red wine, vanilla, pepper. Awesome flavour. Sweet. Thick texture. Mild carbon.

On tap at ACBF2017. Pours dark brown with tan head. Roasted malts, lots of alcohol, chocolate, peat, bourbon, nuts, smoke. Full bodied. Soft carbonation. Unfortunately too boozy, quite harsh alcohol which makes it hard to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

04/03/2017 - draught glass @ ACBF, Vichte. Drak brown, small head. Flat, leathery, smoke, nuts, roasted, alcoholic. Hmm, the barrel aging worked to heard on this one for me.
