Smooth dry beginning. Quite dry for a Weizen, yeast but more clove, dry with nearly no sweetness, but soft. Dry malty yeasty aftertaste, moderate bitter, interesting but not a typical Hefeweizen, more a Wheat Ale.

Tap at Wiener Bier Fest. Aroma basement clove, taste goes initially the same way, banana appears later and basement disappears. Hazy yellow colour. Rather average for me.

bottle at home bought at Ammersin, BB 09.05.2015. light orange, light cloudy color. small white head. typical smell of a wheat beer: banana, spices. light to medium body, light astringent, spices again, banana, also some peach. finish is a bit watery overall dry though and fruity / spicy. OK, mouthfeel is not as nice as with some other wheat beers.

Hazy orange color with not as big a head as you?d expect. Citrusy, bananas, spicy yeasts. Light citrus-banana taste. More Wit-like than Hefeweizen-like, although no coriander here. Rather light, but fuller than an average Wit. Not much to criticize, but then again nothing special.

330 ml bottle from Grand Cru, Vienna.
Orange, hazy body, with a big, frothy, white head, that dissipates quickly.
Aroma of banana, orange, vanilla, clove and other spices, grains.
Taste follows this, with even more vanilla.
Medium to light mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes spicy, fruity and malty.
OK. Nothing special, but quaffable and with some nice vanilla notes. There are better Hefeweizens from Austria, but also worse.
